Lantz Construction of Winchester and sub contractors, plus our custodians are working hard to get RCES ready for the opening of school. Lantz told us in a meeting yesterday that they feel the Aug. 15 roof completion date is realistic. The HVAC sub is beginning to hang the wall heat pump units in the classrooms today and some will be operational by August 29. The rooms they don’t finish by then will be released to the contractor 3 at a time to complete the AC installation after school starts.
