Put that in a store bought graham cracker crust, that has the clear plastic top, seal it up and put in the refrigerator for some good eating, or freeze it for later.
I have been told you can substitute any type of fruit for the berries, and I am anxious to try it with some good peaches. We have only used the blackberries. Enjoy.
Bird sighting
This week we saw a cormorant fly into the big maple tree growing beside the stream coming from Mrs. Lee’s place. I have seen them numerous times in the south, near the shore. They look something like an anhinga, or water turkey, but I am pretty sure this was a double-crested cormorant. I believe this is the first time I have seen one in Virginia.
Our bird books say they are here, and I guess they must be right. They are aquatic feeders, and I wondered, with so many people building ponds, if they might be finding the pickings pretty easy.
