Katherine R. Breeden, 85, of Culpeper, died on Wednesday, July 20 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was bom in Amissville on April 8, 1920, a daughter of Ernest Jeffries and Gabrielle Jenkins Jeffries.
Mrs. Breeden had retired from Whitehall Farm where she was the housekeeper. She had lived at Warrenton Manor for over 20 years and was a member of the Warrenton Church of Christ. She enjoyed music, gardening, and sewing and loved to cook for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Allen Breeden Sr„ a son, Floyd A Breeden Jr. and a grandson, Perry Breeden, eight sisters and brothers.
Mrs. Breeden is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Spencer of Gaithersburg, Md. and Sheila Wines of Midland.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 23 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton. Interment followed in Warrenton Cemetery.
