"One of the great features of this art tour is that it gives attendees the unique pleasure of visiting artists in their very own studios and seeing their works in progress," Mitchell said. "After all, an artist’s studio environment can actually inspire the artistic process." "We will have brochures to encourage patronage of our local restaurants, retail shops and inns," Mitchell continued. The festiv al can be experienced as a daylong event or a weekend stay. "Artists of Rappahannock" is one of the many ways that RAAC supports the arts and culture ot Rappahannock County. Over the last 23 years, R A AC's mission has been to enrich the lives of local residents through exposure to the aits, and to promote a sense ot community in the county through workshops, dances, programs, concerts, school events, cinema, and other activities.
