County and Town Meetings and Notice
• On Thursday, Dec. 7 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p. m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. • On Tuesday, Dec. 12 the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p. m. (closed session) and 7: 30 p. m. (public session) at R. C. H. S. band room. • The Planning Commission and Town Council of Washington, will hold a joint public hearing on Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. on proposed amendments to the Floodplain Ordinance of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Washington. Immediately following the joint meeting, the Town Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting. On the agenda is a public hearing on TW SUP 0611-01, a Special Use Permit application by Patrick O’Connell to utilize 456 Gay St. as a Bed and Breakfast, and reservoir and wastewater updates. • There will be a joint meeting of the ARB and Planning Commission of the Town of Washington, on Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. to continue the review of the Historic District Ordinance and the Historic District Guidelines.
