Combination of field support and indoor scalehouse duties. Operates articulated truck performs on-site hauling of dirt, vegetative waste, mulch nibble, tires and gravel. Operates wheeled loader, tractor, mowing equipment, string tnmmer and chain saw. Assists heavy equipment mechanic. Provides customer service in-person, phone or though email Operates truck scales for local government-owned Solid Waste Disposal Facility. Must have the physical ability to maintain scalehouse, truck scales and perform snow removal. Records transactions in computer based accounts receivable system. Conducts daily cash receipts; and cash drawer closeouts, prepares financial and operational reports; manages contracts provides information to the public regarding waste disposal policies, facility locations and fees. Monitors video security system. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, database experience and constraction/farm equipment experience preferred. Uniforms and safety shoes provided Requires High School diploma or equivalent and four years of related experience or Associate's Degree or Technical School Diploma and 2 years related experience. CDL Class A required or must obtain within six (6) months of hire. Bilingual English/Spanish desired. Must have the physical ability to routinely lift 70 lbs. Must have the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions. Successful candidate will have to undergo and pass a physical exam/drug screening.
