Ben Cooter Jones served as the parade Grand Marshall, waving his new scepter triumphantly. Mayor Eugene Leggett and his wife Clarissa, together with Vice Mayor Reinhardt Lynch, rode in a magnificent carriage from the Shenandoah Carriage Company.
