SENIOR CLINICIAN
Mental Health
Position to provide specialized outpatient substance abuse treatment services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Services include assessment and evaluations, individual. ttroup and family therapy, case management including medication case management, crisis intervention and stabilization and interagency consultation and coordination of treatment services. Maintains all clinical records and documentation according to federal state and agency policies and procedures and assures compliance with federal HIDTA requirements for automated treatment tracking. The candidate must be knowledgeable in both substance abuse and mental health issues, demonstrate strong clinical skills in providing individual, group and family substance abuse therapy, possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to function as a member of a clinical team. Services may be provided in a variety of settings including the Adult Detention Center and Probation. Work Schedule will include Monday-Friday with evening hours 2 nights per week. Requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy and three years of job-related experience. Master 's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy, and three years post masters clinical experience preferred: Vu ginia Clinical licensure or license eligible employment is contingent upon criminal back ground check. TB test, and driving record check and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
