David and Jennifer Aldritch have granted to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation a conservation easement covering their 204-acre Sommarbeth Farm on the upper Rappahannock River. Recorded on Nov. 27, the easement restricts any future division of the property into more than two parcels, and protects about 1,900 feet of Rappahannock riverbank with riparian buffers. Easement protection in Rappahannftck County now totals 24,385 acres — which is 17.89 percent of all private land in the county.
