The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, operating and maintaining complex audio-visual systems and equipment county-wide, monitoring system performance during Board of Supervisors meetings to address system performance, and performing adjustments and repairs as needed This position will also serve as the County's expert and principal point of contact on specification, acquisition, installation and maintenance of various video surveillance systems, interface with cable TV providers and, as needed, instruct personnel on A/V system operations. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in electronics or graduation from a technical school and at least 4 years experience in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual and electronic surveillance systems. Valid appropriate driver's license. Must be able to work in vicinity of high voltage electrical equipment. Subject to working after hours and weekend participation in Board of Supervisors meetings, public hearings, and other County meetings. Must be available to respond to County emergencies. DMV record check is required.
