Turn right signs readied New signs are being erected at approximately on poi i ont of intersections with traffic signals throughout the state in preparation for the Right Turn on Red law. For the past eight months, engineers for the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation have conducted studies of every intersection with traffic signals on statemaintained highways. As of January 1, motorists will be permitted to make right turns on red lights, unless the signs, which re nl No Turn On Red, have been erected.
