We have been ambulatory for years,” Nolan explained. “You called up, and the vet came to you. Now we can work with horses right here. We have nine vets now, seven full time and two part time.
“We started the practice without a site,” Nolan continued, “and we’ve added doctors nearly every year.”
Nolan said that the vets that are a part of the practice have been thinking about the project for a long time.
“We’ve been talking about this for years,” he stated. “We bought the property in 2000. Now we can do quality work in a better, safer, user-friendly location. We can do limited surgery here.”
The reputation of the place is growing, it would seem.
“We just had a $1 million standardbred stallion in here,” Nolan said. “And we get a lot of former show horses, a lot of event horses come through the practice, and a lot of locally owned foxhunters.
