Last Monday, Dominion released a map that showed 72 possible power line paths, which pass through parts of Warren, Fauquier, Prince William and Loudoun counties. The possible alignments roughly follow Interstate 66.
PEC plans to lease one bus for the tour. Federal, state and local officials and reporters will be invited to ride along, Lazaro said.
While details still must be worked out, the tour may include four stops. Tentatively, those include Roland Farm near The Plains, Beulah Baptist Church and The Hollow (John Marshall’s home), both near Markham, and Beverley Mill at Thoroughfare Gap, Lazaro said.
The tour will begin at about 9 a.m. and conclude at around noon at the mill with a press conference, Lazaro said.
