On Dec. 2, Donald Wilkins of Amissville was transported to Fauquier Hospital after being hit over the head with a pool cue.
Troy Dovell, 45, of Culpeper, was in Wilkins’ house on Davidson Lane when the incident occurred. Dovell also threw a chunk of wood at Wilkins, who blocked it with his hand, injuring his thumb. Wilkins required ten stitches to close the wound on his head.
RCSO Deputy Tbny Leake responded to the scene, as well as Deputy Kiline Madison from Culpeper and State Police Trooper Christopher Roop.
Dovell was arrested the following day by Culpeper authorities for aggravated
