Loock also said that, although the current proposed corridor does not run through Rappahannock, people in the county should still keep a close eye on the issue. He said he fears that if political clout and citizen opposition in Loudoun and Fauquier counties drive the power company to look for “the path of least resistance,” Rappahannock may become a candidate for the transmission corridor.
