Dec. 7, 8: Cookie Sale
The 12th Annual Grandma’s Homemade Favorites Cookies and Gift Sale will be held Thursday, December 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, December 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Warrenton Community Center, 430 East Shirley Avenue, Warrenton, Virginia. All proceeds from this sale will benefit the Warrenton Adult Day Care Program. There will be an incredible assortment of cookies, fruitcakes, and snacks to enjoy while browsing. There will be many gifts to choose from also. In addition, we have remembered our four-legged friends - these treats are a very popular item - they sell out quickly. Dec. 8: Christmas Songs
The Blue Ridge Chorale of Culpeper under Director Virginia Erwin will present a concert at the Theatre in Washington at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. This is truly “The Many Moods of Christmas”, from deeply reverent to truly joyous; beloved traditional to just great fun! The audience will be invited to join in some carols. The Chorale will present two more concerts on Sunday, Dec. 10, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Culpeper at 3 and 6 p.m. For all three concerts, tickets at the door will be $12 for adults, $5 for children under 12.
