Pursuant to Section 6-1-1 of the Town of Washington Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 7:30pm at the Town Hall on Gay and Calvert Streets in Washington, Virginia to consider the following application:
TW SU 06-11-01 Patrick O'Connell, owner of the property located at 456 Gay Street in Washington, VA (Tax Map 20A-2, Parcel 131, zoned Village Residential), desires a Special Use permit to utilize the property as a bed and breakfast. Two rooms will be used with a maximum occupancy of four persons. Use allowed pursuant to Code Section 1-4-2, with additional standards pursuant to Code Section 6-1-2g.
A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office and available for public inspection, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm at 290 Gay Street, Washington, Virginia 2274/. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties wishing to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Zoning Administrator, P.O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia 22747, in advance thereof.
