Recently, both chambers of

the Virginia General Assembly passed a piece of energy legislation (SB1416 and HB3068) that is currently awaiting the Governor’s signature.

While this proposed legislation is purported to re-regulate electric utility companies, it is in effect a product of their hordes of lobbyists in Richmond and will not serve the interests of the citizens of Virginia.
