In Nov. 2005, Gray’s wife, Treva, was murdered in Washington, Pa., about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, where they resided.
Evidence from that case was also introduced in Richmond, as Gray had confessed to the murder and told Philadelphia investigators that he and his nephew, Ray Dandridge, beat Treva with a pipe before dropping her body off at a garage.
Dandridge faced prosecution in Richmond along with Gray in the murders of the Harvey and Tucker/Baskerville families. He was Gray’s accomplice in many of his crimes, but his name is yet to be brought up in the Warner case.
After court on March 14, Bruns commented that he didn’t not know whether Dandridge would testify, or if he had been considered a suspect. Dandridge is currently serving life in prison.
