9 being recognized for their service were Fire Chief Ibdd Brown, Fire Lt. Adam Moore, Firefighter/EMT Ricky Fogle, Firefighter/EMT Sara Fogle, and President Chris Ubben who accepted the award on behalf of the department. We owe these folks and all of our firefighters and EMS Personnel a huge Thank You for all of the hard work, time, and effort they have put in not only to .respond to dangerous situations at all hours of the day and night but also for all of the hours they invest in their training. The hours needed to complete even the most basic of courses takes months to attain.
When asked what they thought of their first ever Valor Awards ceremony the members of Chester Gap Fire & Rescue, Company 9 said that they were just glad that they could help and look forward to doing so again in the future.
