Mitchell said she has been impressed by how many Washington residents are already using the energy-saving lights in their homes.
“Tve found almost everyone has one already,” she said. “I want us to get on the bandwagon.”
Mitchell said people who install compact fluorescent light bulbs should register on the Enlighten Web site at www. enlightenusa.org, so PEC can keep track of how much energy is saved state-wide through the implementation of compact fluorescent light bulbs.
