thus leaped ahead of Ttexas to become the first state in the nation to cover its entire land area in a network of wildlife trails.
Caledonia Farm is the first of 12 stops on the Front Royal loop, which winds north to the Thompson Wildlife Management Area and Sky Meadows State Park. It eventually swings west and then south into the Shenandoah Valley, ending at Shenandoah County Park.
Every site along the trail has met standards to ensure it provides significant wildlife viewing opportunities; is reasonably accessible to the public; and is located within a 30minute drive of lodging, restaurants, and other sites on the trail.
