Susan Coates Crossman, 48, of North Port, Fla., formerly of Madison died Saturday, March 10 in Sarasota, Fla., surrounded by her family.
She was bom March 21, 1958 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late James William Coates.
Mrs. Crossman was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Haywood and worker of the C.B.M. Ministries.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Kirk Crossman of North Port, Fla., mother, Betty Lindsey of Floridai, a daughter, Sarah Jean Crossman of Fredericksburg, two sons, David Stanley Ryder, Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., Stephen William Crossman of North Port, Fla.
Additional survivors include a sister, Margaret C. Robbins, a half sister, Carolyn Cobb Lindsey both of Alexandra, and one half brother, Mark Eldon Lindsey of Sarasota, Fla.
She is preceded in death by ' her daughter, Amanda Dawn Ryder.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Wagner and Rev. Perry Utz officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
