Junie was preceded in * death by his parents Robert - and Alberta Groves, three 1 brothers; George Shankling, ' Raymond and Thomas Groves, - and two sisters; Dorothy T Groves and Kate Pendleton.
He leaves to cherish his ' memory a loving and devoted wife Mary of 41 years. From this union he was the father of Cynthia Groves of Culpeper, Virginia, Julian Groves of Reva, Virginia, and Alan • Groves of Washington, Virginia. He was the grandfather of " Kiandra Veeney, Erika Harris, Cameron and Carter Groves. A special nephew Gregory Carter and a daughter in-law to be Shannan Haught. Junie was also survived by brothers James and Buck Groves of Washington, DC., Walter Groves of Jefferston. Virginia; sisters Margaret Dean of Culpeper, Virginia, Nellie King of Amissville, Virginia, Katherine Gaines and Mary Groves of Washington, D.C; three sisters-in-laws. Pearl Groves, Frances Groves and Alberta Groves, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Junie’s greatest joy in life was his family.
