“We are being penalized by the state for the policies that we have taken on land use,” Blubaugh stated.

He also said that it was still important to maintain the quality of the schools. “Like most people in the county, I was hit pretty hard by the tax increase, and like most people in this county, I don’t have children currently in the school,” he said. “But I strongly support an increased budget for our schools and teacher pay raises.”
