Estabrook repeated that architect Baughn was annoyed. “But he still has a great deal of confidence” in the E.M. Martin roofing firm, the superintendent emphasized.

Negotiations Proposed

“I personally feel that we have grounds to negotiate,” maintained chairman Beverly Massie, agreeing with the suggestion to contact additional roofing firms for new estimates on a sloped roof.

Estabrook noted that E.M. Martin Company has done work on other sections of the leaking RCES roof. Staying with the same firm gives continuity, he said.
