On Saturday, Elliot Doyle presented the Hackley's with a framed testimonial lettered by caligrapher Richard Pierson. It described Graham as a "respected merchant, neighbof, friend and leader^ who has been “ever supportive of the youth of his community, his church, the fire department and the needs of our citizens.” The testimonial thanked Graham and Dorothy for their “devoted and long standing friendship to the people they have served so well” and congratulated the people of “60 years of unselfish accomplishment.”
Saturday’s affair was just one example of that unselfishness. The Hackleya donated the refreshments, the helium balloons and a long list of door prizes, their “thank you” to the people who have patronized their country store for 60 years.
