Editor’s Note: This essay was written about Grandma Brady when Catherine was attending college. Catherine now is married, and expecting her first child soon.
In the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, along the Blue Ridge Mountains, lies a peaceful, serene village called Flint Hill. Across from the general store, set back from the road, is an elegant white house surrounded by shade trees and flower gardens. This is where my Grandma Brady lives and has lived for as long as I can remember.
Just as the house is in the middle of town.
