The Fauquier Democrat and the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department have joined forces in producing the first Fauquier Democrat 10-Kilometer Race May 19 at 9 a.m. through northern Warrenten.
The nee is scheduled the same day as the Warrenton’s Old Town Spring Festival,
Registration cost $6 by May 18 and $8 on race day (from 8-8:30 a.m. at the school parking lot) with the first 1(M pre-registrants receiving T-shirts.
Runners may register by sending a check (made payable to the Parks and Recreation Department) to the department office, 14 Main St, Warrenton, Va. 22186 or by stopping by the office Mouday-Friday from 8:30 a. m.-4:30 p.m. The department’s telephone number is 703-847-8680. Include age and shirt size with registration.
