This wet spring has continued to play havoc with the progress of the RCHS nine, forcing cancellation of practice sessions and rescheduling of games, but Dawson is impressed with the improvement his boys have shown. And the interruptions certainly haven’t hurt their batting stats. Dawson’s top three batters —Jeff Porter, Curtis Foster and Chucky Jenkins — are hitting over .400 and the next three in the power rankings — H.B.
