Lorraine Bouthilet, PhD, 63, of Amiss ville and Washington, D. C., died suddenly May 4,1984.
Dr. Bouthilet, a psychologist, was born in St. Paul, Minn., and was educated at the University of Minnesota and the University pf Chicago.
She worked as an editor at the American Psychological Association and later for the National Institute of Mental Health. Since retiring from NIMH she had been a free-lance artist.
Dr. Bouthilet was also a sportswoman. She was an active member of the Ashland Bassets in Warrenton and the Colonial Schipperke Club.
She is survived by three sisters, Florence B. Fick, St. Paul, Minn., Joanne B. Parker and Carolyn Bouthilet, Amissville, and 21 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, May 10, at 3 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Warrenton.
