This week, May 6-12, is National Volunteer Week, and I want to extend a hearty thank you to all of Rappahannock County’s 51 volunteers in the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center Volunteer Program. Since December, they have given 772 hours of service to the mentally retarded, mental health clients, and the lonely and housebound elderly through their valuable service to the Center’s programs, and those of our volunteers who are in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program have also given 223.6 hours of
