For as long as I can remember, I have always strived to be a housewife and mother. Oh, I dreamed of being prestigious, influential in a large business corporation, but I still longed to become a housewife.
Well, I went through high school, attended four years of home economics classes and began to learn that there was more to being a housewife than I realized.
After finishing high school, and yet to have my first serious relationship, I thought it best for myself and my family to make an attempt at another career. I went to college for two years and graduated with a secretarial degree, still no closer to becoming a housewife. I took a position at the college as a secretary with the Ceta program. It was only for six months but I thought that would give me some time to see what I wanted to do with my life.
