also had tune to get involved in community activities. I really wanted to become involved and get to know my neighbors. I wasn’t that out-going of a person so I really did not know where to start. Then a friend asked me to come with her to an Extension Homemakers Chib Meeting.
So I did and soon learned that I could be prestigious and influential in my own community as a homemaker. It may not be glamorous but the rewards are unlimited. I learned to be able to express my ideas. Through working with other members, I could again in self respect, share with others, grow as a person, and most of all gain strong, sincere, loving friendships.
I sincerely believe Extension Homemakers Clubs do foster the highest ideals; that our homes reach out
and helps the communities in which we live. In our meetings we study the best ways to help us enjoy every
