Nobody Like Mom

Many of the children, now with families of their own, have settled close to their mother.

They are (oldest to youngest): Louise McCulloch of Oakton, Va.; Mary Atkins of Amissville; Moffett “M.H.” Jr. of Flint Hill; Thelma Crane of Lanham, Md., Irene Hamilton of High Point, N.C.; Elizabeth Bolton of Warrenton, Va.; Ann Jones of Vinton, Iowa; Robert of Flint Hill; Charles of Falls Church, Va. and Richard of Oakton, Va.

The first-born, Louise, is moving back to Flint Hill this month, where she and her husband will spend their retirement years. “I can walk to Mom’s house,” she beamed. ' Thelma Crane," third-born, also plans to move back to Rappahannock sometime this year.
