The Red Ctom Bloodmobile will be at the Wairenton Volunteer Fire House on Thursday, May 17, between the hours of noon and 6 p.m.
Although the number of blood donors has increased slightly in the past few months, the Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross is not likely to achieve its goal of collecting 1,450 pints by the end of its fiscal year, June 30. The count stood at something more than 800 on May 1, with a Bloodmobile scheduled this past Tuesday at Marshall, and another due at Vint Hill Farms Station in June.
