The Flint Hill annual fireman’s banquet was held at the fire hall on Sunday and was well attended.

Mrs. Paul Miller spent Thursday to Saturday with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family at Madison Heights. They celebrated the 17th birthday of her grandson Gordon.

Visiting Mrs. Roland Welch Saturday at her home Mountain View were Eddie Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and Bill Welch and Billy.

Miss Joyce Walker of Arlington spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker.

Mrs. Wade Pullen visits her sister Mrs. Nannie Weaver in Warren Memorial Hospital regularly.

Visiting Mrs. Robert Nethers on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Charles Corder Jr., Virginia Reedy, Debbie Dennis, Mrs. F.D. Coffey Jr., Mrs. Ranny Aylor, Clyde Lilian! and Heather Aylor.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service on Sunday, June 7, at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Merlin Shorb, pastor, invites the public to attend.
