Take a ^ood. look at the garden centers or the storefronts and garden areas of department stores. You won’t have to look long to realize a lot of people must be busy planting shrubs in Virginia now.
Unfortunately, when many of those people plant their shrubs they unknowningly give them little chance to survive.
Even people who go to a lot of trouble and expense to plant shrubs right can end up giving the shrubs handicaps they won’t be able to overcome.
The three most important steps in planting shrubs are digging the right size hole, planting the shrub at the right depth, and mulching.
Health Fair
successful
On May 16, Warren Memorial Hospital sponsored their Annual Community Health Fair. At the critque held following the health fair it was learned that more than 400 people visited the health fair and took advantage of the free screenings, tests and exhibits.
Warren Memorial is pleased to be able to provide this service to the residents of Front Royal and Warren County. Thank you all for coming and making May 16 a great day for us also. Our Theme for 1987 Health Fair “We Feel Good Helping You Feel Better.”
