Culpeper’s Country Market and Square Dance will offer a wide variety of country food, crafts and entertainment on Davis Street in old town Culpeper, Saturday, June 13, from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
The town will close Davis Street to autos between Main and East Streets from 5:30 p.m. to the conclusion of the festivities.
There is no charge for the entertainment or Square Dance which will be called by internationally known Ralph Case. Mr. Case and his group, according to the Friends of Culpeper, sponsors of the events, will teach all those who will be trying this purely American folk dance for the first time. The Dellevies first saw Case during the Jimmy Carter Innauguration when Case and his group appeared at the Air and Space Museum and had strangers dancing almost instantly.
