American photography is now going through a period of intense experimentation, in part due to modern high-tech cameras which make it no longer a question of “getting a picture,” but which free photographers and dare them to do something more. Photographers may become more painterly, making a round robin of borrowing between these two mediums.
The Lees have two sons, Anthony, an economist and teacher in Austin, Texas, and Jon, in business in Flint Hill whose wife, Mai*garet, is a faculty member at Wakefield.

The Gallery is offering a “Creative Photography” seminar in conjunction with Clyde Lee’s show.
