New game
laws out to
agents Aug. 1
The summary of Virginia’s game laws for the next two hunting seasons, set by the Game Commission at its May 8 meeting, will be available for distribution to all license agents by Aug. 1.
A commission spokesman noted that, although hunting licenses run from July 1 through the following June 30, the delay in the availability of the game law summaries should not have any effect on any of the 1987 game seasons.
“Unless difficulties are encountered, these publications should be available for the crow and racoon chase seasons which open on Aug. 1,” the spokesman said.
