During the past few years a great deal of attention has been focused on the disease of alcoholism. It has been correctly identified as one of the leading health problems facing our nation.
Along with this recognition has come a desire to do something to change the bleak situation and a multitude of treatment programs have come into being. These programs range from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) to a variety of inpatient and outpatient counseling services.
