Reader’s Digest books
Rappahannock Literacy Volunteers (RLVjnave been given a number of large print Reader’s Digest magazines for use in the organizations “Learn to Read” program.
Presented as a gift by Dr- D. Russell Brear, Culpeper Ophthalmologist the magazine makes it easier for learning adults to advance their reading skills. The magazines become yet another tool for the use of volunteer teachers assisting county residents who want to learn to read, improve their reading or prepare for their general equivalence examination.
Funds received by RLV at its booth at the Spenyville Spring Festival will be used to purchase additional instructional ebooks for teachers and pupils.
