Congratulations to Melanie Woodward who was named queen of the Junior/Senior Prom at Rappahannock County High School.
Amber Marie Stuart, two month old daugther of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Stuart, was dedicated at Culpeper Assembly on Sunday. Officiating were Pastor Bill Smith and Amber’s great-grandfather Rev. C.M. McGlothlin. Her great-grandmother Linda Kennedy McGlothlin sang. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Stuart of Centreville and Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Smith of Amissville also participated in the ceremony.
Louella Smith accompanied Goldie and Carl Yates to Baker, WV to attend a birthday luncheon for Goldie’s brother Glenn Watson on April 19. He was surprised to have several of his family members attend from Clarksburg.
A special thanks to Frances Hackley who has been picking up trash along Rt. 639 whenever she takes her walks. Neighbor Scott i Donaldson took it to the landfill for : her. We could keep our village and countryside lovely if everyone took responsibility, if they are able, to clean up in front of their property.
