Proclaim the Word Services will begin this Sunday, May 6 with a covered dish dinner at the Flint Hill fire hall at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. A.D. Goodson of Franklin and former pastor on the Rappahannock Charge of United Methodist Churches will be the guest speaker for the services.
The Sperryville church will host a covered dish dinner at the Sperryville fire hall on Monday at 6 p.m., Tuesday the Willis Chapel Church covered dish dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the worship services each evening Monday to Wednesday begin at 7:30 p.m., concluding on Wednesday evening at Flint Hill.
The Annual Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department Flea Market will be held Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m.
Anyone wishing to donate any tax deductible item may do so by calling 675-3441 or 675-3286 for pickup.
The Home Extension Club Area 9 Bus Tour will be on Thursday, May 9. The tour in the morning will be of the Hallowell Decorator Showcase in Old Town Alexandria and in the afternoon a shopping trip to Potomac Mills.
