Mrs. Alvin Atkins and brother Harold of Sperryville were Thursday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family. Sunday afternoon the Fraziers were in Fredericksburg to visit Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier. Holtzman Frazier returned home last Thursday from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond where he underwent heart by-pass surgery.
The Jerry Mills and Joe Peregory families dined at Dan’s Steak House in Front Royal on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Goddard of Quaint Acres made a recent trip to Charlottesville to visit Dr. and Mrs. Byrd Stuart Leavell at their home, “Nichola”.
Shawna L. Gray has been named to the Dean’s list for the fall semester at V.P.I.
Our community is saddened by the passing of Mr. Vernon Scott, son of Mr. Clarence Scott and the late Mrs. Bert Scott and we extend our sympathy to the family.
