I am a homebound English teacher for Fairfax County. The county pays teaches to go to the homes of students who are too ill to attend school. But what did people do years ago before homebound education existed?
Your picture of Miss Mary Miller Wood in the April 26 issue of the Rappahannock News reminded me of an illness I had nearly 40 years ago which necessitated a three-month absence from Sperryville Elementary School.
