Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mrs. Shirley Kushner visited Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne in Warrenton Saturday night. On Sunday Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Kushner had lunch at the Wooden Lamb and later visited Mrs. Brown’s sister Mrs. Estelle Leake in Luray.

Mrs. W.W. Cloe Jr. of Stafford spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. T.J. Pillar.

Mrs. Cassie Robbins and daughter Lydia of Boyce were Monday afternoon visitors of Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead.

Dr. William Kilby and girls Marie and Christy were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin R. Kilby.

Last Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Jenkins, Kim and Jeff were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jenkins of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Jenkins of Washington, Timmy Jenkins of Culpeper, Mrs. Sharon Weakley and family and Mrs. Penny Donaldson, all local.

The Sperryville Administrative Board met Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor. Others present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Hugh Chrisman, Julian Brown, Nelson Nethers, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland, Mrs. Emma Swindler and Mrs. Catherine Brown.
