Health Fair at CMH

May 7 is Nurses Day Health Fair at Culpeper Memorial Hospital, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nurses will have information on diseases, surgery, stress, first aid and safety, pain control. For information call (703) 829-4307 or (703) 672-4322.

Flea market to benefit FHVFD

Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its annual flea market on Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m. Anyone wishing to donate items please call 675-3441 or leave a message at 675-3286. All items donated are tax deductible and arrangements can be made for items to be picked up.

1975 Class reunion planned

The Rappahannock County High School graduating class of 1975 will be holding their 15 year class reunion on Saturday, June 9 from 2 until at the Rappahannock Park. It will be a pig roast. Dance at Sperryville

The Sperryville Ladie s Auxiliary will sponsor a dance on Saturday, May 5 from 9 to 1 at the fire hall. Music will be by DJ and Video Connection of Front Royal. You must be 21 to attend. For more information contact Joyce Lillard at 987-8952.

Miss Rappahannock contest

^ The annual Miss Rappahannock pageant will be held Saturday, May 26 at 7 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium. There will be seven categories this year, including mother/daughter and Little Mr. Rappahannock (boys, age 2-6). Contestants must be county residents, and between the ages of 2 and 19. A rehearsal will be held Friday, May 25 at the high school. Entry forms are available at both the elementary and high schools, or by calling Linda Heeks (987-8343). All proceeds benefit the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
