Every day, nurses demonstrate their healing power for the ill in their care. Their patients depend on nurses’ knowledge, skill and compassion.
On May 7, National Nurses Day, nurses at Culpeper Memorial Hospital will use their expertise to help you stay well.
“From working in many situations, we see how information and special assistance can be so valuable to help many people live healthier and safer lives,” said Kathy Andrews, RN.
“Nurses are trained to heal the sick, but we also want to share what we know will keep you well,” Betsy Portis, RN, added.
On the day that nurses are recognized for specialized care they provide, CMH nurses will sponsor a health fair at Culpeper Memorial Hospital from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The nursing departments of the hospital will offer information and screens concerning health risks. Prizes and informative brochures will be available.
